This is some thing that we love to do offer a solution that solves a print problem. One of the most common problems is printing white. The question is can white be printed. The simple answer is it can be achieved.

There are two ways in which white can be printed by screen print or wide format printing.

However there are many uses for printing white ink by either method.

The white ink can be printed on to transparent materials both flexible and rigid. The white ink can be printed correct reading to be viewed from the face or the image can be printed in reverse. This enables the image to be viewed through the transparent material correct reading. The most common use for this is window graphics.

Reverse image printed in full colour on to clear material can be enhanced with a print of spot white. Printing white ink on selected areas behind the full colour printed image. Leaving transparent areas this could be an area for a TV or computer screen to be viewed.  

White ink can also be printed on to dark colour ink that has already been printed on to a sheet. This enables white text or logo to be over printed on the dark coloured ink. Ideal for adding information to already printed material.

Printing white ink can also be used for variable printing. Each print may need a number, name or additional information printed over the main image.

Disaster recovery plan every tender every major company you business trades with will ask you do you have one in place. Do you yes. Yes is always the answer and you think you will never use it. What does it cover just the normal things if the building burns down or if the area is flooded. But that will never happen to your company will it.

As all of our customers know Repro Arts Screen & wide format printers have developed the date order system to offer a seamless printing experience. From your printing enquire email to the delivery of the printed items to your warehouse or store. It is all electronic via email & our print management information system. Our customers & our company could not survive with out it. Repro Arts web site has an FTP for print file up load. Our sales team have email on iPhone & iPad. They also have external links to log in to the print management information system.

The print enquire is entered in to the system that has all customer & branch details compiled, an estimate is prepared & emailed to the enquirer. The enquirer places their print order via email. Sending the art work via email, Dropbox or Yousendit  or send a link to down load from there web site the print ready files for printing. An acknowledgment of order is emailed to the print buyer so that the specification ,price, delivery instructions & date are correct. The print buyer emails his approval of the print acknowledgment. A print work order is generated containing all the information to enable the production team to print & finish the order pack ready for dispatch. The print ready art work is ripped embedded  in the work order & emailed to the print buyer for approval before printing can commence. The print buyer emails their approval of the art work. The production team produce the print order. At any stage of the process the print order can be tracked if the buyer requires a progress report. Once printed, finished & packed to the print buyers specification the buyer is sent an email containing the dispatch note with dispatch date web tracking number so that the goods can be tracked via the web while in transit. The printed goods are invoiced by email. Payment can be made for the printed goods via credit card on our web site or via BACS to our bank.

Disaster happened one morning Repro Arts lost touch with the world of printing losing their broadband connection. After tracing the cause of the problem & setting out to rectify this. The dust was knocked off the disaster recovery plan. We had a plan for every disaster encountered in the past fire, flood & strike & all between nothing for loss of broadband & email. What an over site as this is now key to our printing success & continued expansion.

Phones were not affected so we could work as normal just the broadband. Then it appeared our White Knight in shining armour. Our inbound sales team had been working on it for a year. It was shaping nicely & promoting our brand. It is keeping our customers & potential customers informed of advancements & achievements in our printing, graphics & display service.

Social Media we were able to contact & inform companies print buyers of the loss of email facilities keeping in touch up dating them for the duration that lasted for ten days. What do we at Repro Arts know about stickers.

Printing a sticker. What you need to tell us, so that our experience can be used to your advantage. What is this sticker to be used for. Where is it going to be applied. The type of surface, will this be hot or cold. What is the function of the sticker, informative, warning, decorative, security or promotional.  Once you have given us some information on your sticker requirements Repro Arts can start to offer a specification for material & printing of the sticker you require.

There is not one material or adhesive that suites that is why you will be offered a wide range of materials from top brands like Avery, 3M & promotional films like self cling PVC.

Printing methods for stickers are also as varied as materials can be digitally printed in full colour, Screen printed in full colour or spot pantone colours to match your Branding. Printing on to the vinyl film can be on the surface, under surface, reverse , or even twin sided. Stickers can have sequential numbers or be customised with individual names stores or locations.

The sticker can be enhanced by printing gloss, matt, colour or build up varnish. Or lamination can be applied in matt , gloss or crystal this can offer protection or cut down reflection.

Stickers can be trimmed to size, have radius corners, be die cut to shape, have easy peel tabs or slit backing so it easy to remove the backing for application. With to option of computer for large format & one offs. Stickers can also be kiss cut & left in sheets. Have pre space tape to the face to protect them during application.

Once you have made your decision to use Repro Arts’ services, your print order will be handled on the latest printers’ management information system, from initial enquiry to quotation to confirmation of order. You can then see a PDF proof of your product before the printing process begins. You can see some of the stunning artwork we have produced in the past in our new video (Repro Arts in 3 minutes, made by Daniel Spencer of Fierce Bad Rabbit). These have been either digital or screen printed and finished in-house, just like all of the products we print.

Once your design has been finalised, we’ll print it for you using either our digital or screen printing machines. Always using the latest digital technology, such as the Fujifilm Acuity Advance X2 flat bed printer, we can produce products 3.05m by infinity, or the reel to reel wide format digital printer which can print anything up to 2.5m wide by infinity! These machines can print direct to sheets in CMYK full colour, are capable of edge-to-edge printing and can even print in white on to clear or black materials.

Our screen printing process uses sheet fed print lines and can be any size up to 1.6m by 1.4m and use UV Cure inks. The machines are capable of printing any amount of colours onto any sheet material.

Once the printing is complete, your product can be cut to any shape you choose. The Zund flat bed cutting table (seen in action in the 3 minute video) can cut flat sheets or reel to reel and is capable of any size up to 2.5m by infinity! Whether you’ve ordered one product or a thousand, we can provide profile cutting, radius corners or even a three-dimensional shape on a wide range of materials including paper, Correx, Foamex, acrylic and more.

Once your product has been printed, cut and finished by our team of experts, you will be sent an email as soon as it is dispatched and it will be sent directly to your door, wherever you are in the country, via UPS. You can even track your order’s whereabouts on their website.
